Renowned as the quintessential talent incubator for the watersports brand, the Duotone × Porsche Young Blood Camp 2024 took place for a week in the French Riviera. As per tradition, Duotone extends invitations for the camp to the world’s most promising kiteboarding talentsaged12to18.Thiscarefullycuratedselectionidentifiesyoungriderswhodemonstrateexceptional skill, potential, and passion for the sport. This year, Porsche introduced an exciting additional opportunity alongside Duotone’s regular camp invitations. They announced two “Golden Tickets” , allowing passionate and talented young kiters worldwide to participate without a direct invitation. Aspiring athletes could apply by submitting video applications showcasing their skills and enthusiasm for the sport. After careful review by an Duotone expert committee, the two most impressive entries were selected. These fortunate winners earned the unique privilege to join the camp. With experts to guide them, the program centered on comprehensive personal development, focusing on both athletic performance and mental fortitude. It aimed to provide these promising young athletes with all the necessary tools and skills, empowering them to push beyond their perceived limits and reach newheights in their sporting journey. It was all about stoking their passion for the sport, creating fresh motivation, facing new challenges and overcoming them. A week filled with training sessions, mental coaching and workshops, while getting together with experts from Duotone and their partner Porsche for individually tailored advice, to meet the specific needs of each young athlete. As the camp wrapped up, these riders left with more than just tricks and new skills. They left with a newfound sense of purpose and the tools to build their future in the sport. The Duotone × Porsche Young Blood Camp was about more than developing talent—it was about shaping young riders into future icons and ambassadors for the sport. “We arrived as competitors, but we’re leaving as friends. The positivity here helped us all push harder, and we all came out better for it.” Emil Noeppert, 14, fromGermany DUOTONE 72 B L I S S
