TORBOLE Northern Lake Garda, near Riva del Garda. Charming little town with stunning restaurants, bars, coffee places and shops. Best Conditions Morning: Medium till strong Pelèr in mornings  Afternoon: Lighter Ora from the south   MALCESINE Eastern side of Lake Garda, midway along the lake. Picturesque spot with medieval charm and stunning backdrops. Best Conditions Morning: Strong Pelèr. Afternoon: Softer Ora  AL PRÀ Eastern shore of Lake Garda, in the Veneto region of Italy. Scenic location with breathtaking mountain view. Best Conditions Strong Pelèr in the early morning, lighter Ora in the afternoon. NAVENE Between Malcesine and Torbole, on the eastern shore. A more tranquil spot, yet still equally picturesque and appealing. Best Conditions : Reliable Pelèr in the morning for thrilling rides. Light Ora in the afternoon for less intense conditions. CAMPIONE Western shore, near the middle of the lake. A less crowded spot compared to Torbole and Malcesine - small and pretty. Best Conditions: Excellent for both Pelèr and Ora (Ora rather lighter) Kiting is only allowed in certain areas of the lake. Be aware that there are strict rules for kiting at Lake Garda, which are often subject to change. It’s always helpful to check in brief- ly with the locals for information. In the afternoon (from 1pm) kiting in Trentino is not allowed – you will need to make sure to stay above the landmark that marks the begin- ning of Veneto and Lombardia. Generally there are only a few spots where it is possible to launch your kite from the beach, e.g. Campagnola (Malcesine) . Additionally, many spots require a club membership, proof of liability insurance, and a kite license for ac- cess like Campione or Malvene (Malcesine ). The easiest way to go kiting at Lake Garda is to get a boat shuttle with one of the Kite Schools around the lake (e.g. Duotone Pro Center Torbole).
