COLONY GLACIER Reno Romeu “We had to take the seaplane to get to Inner Lake George; there’s no road leading there. When we approached, we could see the whole glacier from above. I was completely awestruck. It was so beautiful. The ice mixed with rocks made the glacier look a bit darker, which was so unique. Kiting in front of it, completely on my own, was very memorable, very peaceful.”
