Every year we are organizing Young Blood Camps around the World which embody the philosophy of bringing kids together in a group environment to improve their Windsurfing but more importantly to deepen their love for the sport, create lasting friendships with likeminded people and inspire one-another to push their riding to the next level.” Young Windsurfers The Young Blood concept in Windsurfing already goes back a couple years. In 2011 Vincent Langer’s Young Blood Camp set roots to grow to an annual event in Germany. “Back then we were irritated that there was no offer for ambitious windsurfers – kids who were too good to be taught by surf schools but didn’t want to go the Olympic route.” Vincent says. “We wanted to help them get their riding to the next level and at the same time get them connected with each other, prepare them for competitions like DWC, etc.” Today the camp has about 80– 100 young windsurfers aged between 7 – 17 years old, teaching not only Slalom D U O T O N E D U O T O N E 68 69 W H Y Y O U N G B L O O D
