Clement Roseyro “Riding a wave like this is one of the craziest things you can do; it’s very scary, but once you are on the wave, you forget that you have a big knife under you. Even smaller waves have real power. The speed is different, but you need to concentrate nonetheless. The acceleration you get when you drop in with the foil is insane. It’s all about adrenaline. The best thing about riding a wave with the foil is how soft and comfortable it feels. For example, in surfing, you will hit all the bumps of the wave, but with the foil, you feel nothing. I think foiling a big wave is really pushing the limits of the sport.” Height of wave: 5m approx. Spot: Tahiti Photo Ben Thouard D U O T O N E 130 W H Y
